The Kurgo Harness Replacement Program
Since Kurgo was founded, we’ve focused on developing gear that makes travelling with pets safer. We recognise that despite the best preventive measures, unfortunate events still happen. Just like a child car seat, if your dog's car harness is in an accident, you should replace it to ensure your pet's safety in the case of another incident. Our Safe Again program offers safe and reliable harness replacement – at no cost.
The promise is simple. No matter what brand of harness the dog is wearing in the event of an accident, Kurgo will replace that harness free of charge with one of our crash-tested harnesses.
To start the claim process, please contact our team at firstname.lastname@example.org and we would be happy to assist you.
How does it work?
It’s easy. First, reach out to our Customer Care team at email@example.com to start the process. When you reach out, please provide the required information about your car accident (see details below). After the details have been submitted to our team, if your claim is successful we’ll send you a replacement harness within 15 business days.
What information is required for the claim form?
To process the claim, we require you to send us a copy of the accident report from your police department as well as a photo of the harness that was in the accident.
Does the harness involved in the accident need to be a Kurgo harness?
No, we will replace any brand of harness with one of our crash-tested Kurgo harnesses.
What harness will it be replaced with?
How do I size my dog appropriately for a Kurgo harness?
Please be sure to consult the sizing chart and then measure your dog to get the best fit. Sizing between different brands of dog harnesses is not the same, so if you have another brand of harness that you are replacing, please be sure to measure your dog to determine their size. Please feel free to contact our Customer Care Team at firstname.lastname@example.org for help in fitting your dog. If, after you receive your replacement harness, you need to exchange it for a different size, shipping both to and from Kurgo will be at your expense.
How long after the claim process will it take to receive my replacement harness?
Once your claim is approved, we will ship you the replacement harness. Please allow up to 15 business days to process your claim. You will receive an email once the harness ships.
