We wanted peace of mind during car rides, so we originally purchased one for our first rescue beagle (size small for 13” beagle who weighed 20lbs). Now we have a 15” beagle pup (Scooter) who is at least 18” tall and weighs 35 lbs, so we purchased the size medium. The back strap on this one started to fray so Kurgo replaced it for us. Hopefully it will hold up.
